Ivan Cordoba is an award-winning visual artist, photographer, and filmmaker based in New York. Some of his works have been shown at art centers and international festivals such as the Venice Biennale, Cannes, and OFFF – and published in art books and specialized media. He has collaborated with artists such as world-class photographer Christopher Makos, a close friend and colleague of Andy Warhol.

Cordoba came to visual arts and photography with a BFA in Visual Communication and an eagerness to tell stories. After years of crafting still and motion pictures, Cordoba has developed an ability to produce unique narratives and emotional appeals that create a stimulating dialog with the viewer. With a multifaceted artistic background and a wide knowledge of imaging techniques, he can design eye-catching visual artifacts across varied disciplines, turning complex ideas into suggestive visual experiences.

Cordoba’s career is composed of a considerable trajectory shooting film and photography in several countries such as Burundi, Macau, Dominican Republic, France, Spain, and the USA – and his work has been exhibited in cities such as Paris, Barcelona, Saint-Tropez, Milan, Venice, Stuttgart, Mexico City, and New York.
